THE PERSONA BEHIND THE ​

​Mike started his professional photographic career working for one of the largest newspaper groups in South Africa as a press photographer in the early 1980s, covering news ,sporting events and other types news events and then later  on as a freelance, photojournalist. Mike has had  numerous bylines and front page images during his career.

Which he continues as a active photojournalist/photographer at present. ​

This experience allowed Mike to develop a instinctive,  inquisitive, creative style which enables him to adapt to any situation in front of the camera. Mike often shoots images on the fly to capture the image  that tells a story .
